Though my body be racked in pain
and my soul in the throes of agony
though my steps are heavy
and my breath labored
If I know that each indignity
suffered in my members
has secured for you a blessing
then,
Its worth it
If all that I've endured
and all the tabs I've paid
All the beatings that I took
to survive the path that Life has Laid
can insure for you a blessing
and a life I never had
then
It was worth it
Not much at all for you
that I wouldn't do
I'd block a train, a car,
surely kill for you
I'd gladly take another lick for you
because you're worth it.
I'd walk until I dropped
I'd fast until I starved
If It would secure your
soul...
When I have to pray all night
I'll just pray myself silly
I've paid on your account'
